Dr. Nayankumar Vyas is originally from the western part of India. He graduated with his Bachelors in Dental Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences, India. He moved to the USA to be closer to his family residing in North Carolina.  He attended the International Dentist Program at Indiana University School of Dentistry to receive his ‘Doctor of Dental Surgery’ degree. He was a part of the Deans’ list and was also awarded the ‘Student Excellence Award’ by the Indianapolis General Dentistry study club.  After graduating he worked as a clinical and laboratory instructor at IUSD and also practiced as an Associate Dentist at a private practice before moving back to North Carolina. He is an active member of the American Dental association and North Carolina Dental Society.

He resides in Asheville with his wife Dr. Priya and their son. He loves hiking and exploring Asheville in his spare time.

Dr. V as he is known to the staff and his patients is very passionate about dentistry and strives to make his patients comfortable while in his care. His favorite part of dentistry is providing edentulous patients with a beautiful smile and confidence with the help of partial and complete dentures. 

Although Dr. Allen Lee has resided on both coasts of the United States, he has spent most of his life in North Carolina. After graduating from North Carolina State University with a business degree, he continued his studies at Durham Technical Community College to become a dental technician. To pursue his passion in dental ceramics, Dr. Lee trained at the UCLA Center for Esthetic Dentistry to become a master dental ceramist. He then spent two years working at Vita North America as a technical course instructor, giving lectures and hands- on courses to dentist and dental technicians and became a certified dental technician.

Dr. Lee returned to North Carolina to work at a dental laboratory while aiming his sights at dentistry. He returned back to California to study at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Dr. Lee is an active member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

He and his wife now currently reside in Jacksonville, NC. In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing, golfing, snowboarding, and exploring new destinations with his wife.

Dr. Anupriya Fernandes hails from the southern part of India. She received her Bachelors in Dental Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences, India. There after she practiced as a General dentist for both a private practice and in a hospital setting before moving to the USA. She attended the International Dentist Program at Indiana University School of Dentistry and graduated with highest distinction to receive her degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. She was a part of the Deans’ list and was also awarded the ‘Deans International Dentist Program Citation’ award. She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society by Theta Theta Chapter because of her excellence in academics. She is an active member of the American Dental association, North Carolina Dental Society and OKU Theta Theta Chapter.

She currently resides in Asheville with her husband and toddler son. She enjoys cooking for the family and hiking along the mountains of Asheville in her spare time.

Dr. Priya believes in a sincere concern for the health of her patients. Treating patients with a caring heart and gentle hands is her motto.

 

Dr. Trisha-Loray Aprecio is from Southern California, born and raised in the small town of Loma Linda, California. She received her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2011. She practiced as a Registered Dental Hygienist while taking her prerequisites for dental school and throughout her first two years in dental school. She returned to Loma Linda University School of Dentistry where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. While in school, she participated in research competitions promoting oral health care through evidence-based dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Association as well as the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.

For fun, Dr. Trisha has been involved in many half marathons and full marathons all over California. She wishes to continue her marathon streak in efforts to experience the sites of North Carolina and its beauty.

An Ohio native, Dr. A.C. Uveges,II grew up in the Cleveland area and completed both his undergraduate and post­graduate work from Case Western Reserve and Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Uveges has over twenty years of private practice experience and takes great pride in treating his patients with the best care possible. A leader in his profession, Dr. Uveges has had extensive training in New York City with the renown, "Dentist of the Stars", Dr. Larry Rosenthal and has attained Mastership level training with the Aesthetic Advantage ~Advanced Aesthetic Continuum through New York University College of Dentistry and has been a clinical instructor with “Aesthetic Advantage Hands­On Program at the Rosenthal Institute, NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Uveges spent time working in New York City on Park Avenue.

Dr. Uveges was honored with distinction as MDTV National Medical Expert in Cosmetic Dentistry by the MDTV Medical News Now, Inc. He received America ́s Top Dentist Designation, was featured in New Beauty Magazine, Northern Ohio Live Magazine and Cleveland Best Dentist in America Designation. Dr. Uveges is a member of The American Society of Cosmetic Dentistry. Most notably, Dr. Uveges is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, a dental honorary.

As far as his involvement in the community, Dr. Uveges served many years as the Relay for Life­Erie County Chairman. He helped in founding the Uveges Genetic Cancer through the North Coast Cancer Center in Sandusky, Ohio. He has been involved in the Chamber of Commerce, Sandusky Elks, and numerous community activities. Dr. Uveges and his wife, Linda, have an eleven year old daughter, Cambelle and a nine year old son, Charlie.

Dr Wang has been a resident of North Carolina for almost 10 years. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (go Heels!) for his Bachelor of Science in chemistry before completing his dental training at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr Wang then returned to North Carolina at Greenville for his advanced education in general dentistry residency program with community health. In his spare time, Dr Wang is an adamant foodie and tries to exercise regularly to support his eating habits. At Miller and Associates in Jacksonville, Dr Wang sees patients for general dentistry (including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges and more) as well as dentures in a day. Dr Wang enjoys seeing a wide diversity of patients and is able to speak Spanish and Mandarin. Dr Wang encourages all his patients to ask questions about their dental health and oral hygiene, knowledge is power!
